Numbers that bring peace of mind to your business
We handle financial and payroll accounting, annual financial statements and tax returns for freelancers, trade businesses and small companies in the Hanover area – with reliable processes and clear explanations.
Our services
Four tasks we handle completely
Most clients put bookkeeping, payroll and financial statements in one hand – individual components are also possible if preliminary work has already been done in-house.

Financial accounting
Ongoing recording of your receipts, VAT advance returns and a monthly report that shows where your business stands. Submit your receipts digitally or as a folder.

Payroll accounting
Monthly payroll processing, notifications to health insurers and the tax office, certificates for your employees, and support during social security audits.

Annual financial statements
Balance sheet or income surplus statement, an explanation of the results in a personal meeting, and the documents your bank needs for loan or leasing requests.

Tax returns
Income, trade, corporate and VAT tax returns, review of your tax assessments and, if necessary, an appeal within the one-month deadline.
Who we work with
Three groups, three approaches
A painting business with eight employees needs something different from a graphic designer with two clients – that's why we define document workflows and appointments individually for each client.
Self-employed professionals
Freelance or commercial, usually with an income surplus statement. We clarify advance payments, VAT liability and the separation of private and business expenses.
Learn moreTrade businesses
With payroll, job sites and advance payments. We calculate hourly wages and surcharges, record material invoices on an ongoing basis and keep VAT clean for construction services.
Learn moreSmall companies
GmbH, UG or GbR with a small number of employees. We prepare balance sheets and corporation tax returns and get the figures ready for shareholders and the bank.
Learn moreBookkeeping is good when you know in May how the year is going – not only next spring, when the financial statements land on the table.
How it works
From the first call to an ongoing engagement
It usually takes two to three weeks until the first entry – most of that time goes into powers of attorney and the handover from your previous advisor.
Process
How our collaboration works
From the first phone call to the completed annual financial statements, we follow a fixed process. This means you always know which documents are needed from you and what is currently being worked on at the office.
Initial consultation, about 45 minutes

We discuss your legal form, your revenue, the number of employees, and whether you need to prepare a cash-basis income statement or full accounts. You'll learn which tasks stay with the firm, which remain with you, and what fee range to expect. The initial consultation takes place in Hannover or via video call and is non-binding.

You sign the power of attorney for the tax office, so that notices and extension requests are handled through us. We obtain the prior-year data, the chart of accounts, and the depreciation schedule, known as the fixed asset register, from your previous advisor. We then set up your document access and determine who submits which documents by when.

By the fifth business day, you submit receipts and bank statements. We record entries, check input tax, and submit the VAT advance return on time. We process payroll by the end of the month, including notifications to health insurers and the trade association. You receive a business analysis, known as BWA, showing revenue, costs, and results for the month.

After the fiscal year ends, we clarify open items, value inventory and work in progress, and record provisions. You receive the draft financial statements for review, we discuss them together, and then submit them electronically. Income tax, trade tax, and VAT returns are filed at the same time.

We compare every tax notice with the return submitted. If the tax office's assessment differs, we file an objection within the one-month deadline and provide justification. After that, we look ahead: adjusting advance payments, timing investments, and planning reserves.
Fees
What it costs and what the price depends on
We bill according to the Tax Advisor Remuneration Ordinance, known as StBVV. It sets a range for each service within which the fee is determined.
Two factors are decisive: the value in question, meaning revenue or annual turnover, and the effort involved. A business with 300 neatly presorted receipts per month costs less than one with 300 unsorted receipts. After the initial consultation, you'll receive a written estimate with a range for each service. If figures and scope remain stable, we can arrange a monthly flat fee upon request.
What determines the effort for each service
All figures are guidelines based on StBVV and depend on your specific business.
- Financial accounting, monthly
The price depends on the number of receipts, the number of bank accounts, and whether you provide receipts digitally or as paper folders. Cash register management and foreign currency increase the effort involved.
digital receipts noticeably reduce the effort
- Payroll accounting
Billing is per employee and month. It becomes more complex with varying timesheets, surcharges for night and Sunday work, mini-jobs, construction industry social funds, or frequent staff turnover.

- Cash-basis income statement
For self-employed individuals and small businesses not required to keep full accounts. The effort depends on annual revenue and the number of fixed assets that need to be depreciated.
- Annual financial statements with balance sheet
For GmbH, UG, and businesses required to keep full accounts. The basis for calculation is the so-called average of balance sheet total and annual turnover. Inventory valuation and work in progress are added.
- Private income tax return
Based on your income. Rental income, capital gains from multiple accounts, or photovoltaic systems are each calculated separately.
- Initial consultation
Getting to know each other, assessing your situation, and estimating fees. No obligation to work together.
We work by appointment and keep fixed hours free in which you can reach us without booking ahead. Outside these hours we take your message and usually get back to you on the next working day.
