Clients in the Hannover area
We support self-employed professionals, trade businesses and small companies in Hannover and the region – personally available at the firm, digital in collaboration.
A firm right in the heart of Hannover
Our offices are located at Georgstraße 22 in Hannover city centre – within walking distance of the main station and Kröpcke. If you'd rather discuss things at your own business, we'll bring the appointment there: we come to workshops, offices or warehouses throughout the region and review documents where they're created. Everything else then runs through secure digital channels, so no one has to drive folders across town between two meetings.
Where we're on-site
Most of our clients are based in Hannover itself and the surrounding area; we also travel to these locations for meetings.
Support is equally possible outside these locations – in that case mainly digital, with video appointments instead of travel.

Who we support in the region
Our clients come from three groups that are especially common in the Hannover area – from the sole-practitioner office in Nordstadt to trade businesses in the surrounding area.
Self-employed professionals
Freelancers and sole traders in the city who want income surplus statements, VAT and income tax handled from a single source.
Trade businesses
Workshops and construction firms in the surrounding area with payroll for journeymen and apprentices, construction-wage particulars, and assets that need to be depreciated.
Small companies
GmbH, UG and partnerships with ongoing bookkeeping, annual financial statements, and one point of contact for queries from the tax office.
Short distances, clear responsibility
If you work in Hannover or the surrounding area, you can reach us on Georgstraße without a detour – and speak there with the person actually handling your case. Documents don't pass through many hands.
On-site and digital – both, not either/or
We hold meetings in person, while day-to-day work runs digitally. You decide which mix suits you – and either path can be switched at any time.

Process in the region
From the initial consultation to ongoing support
Whether your business is based in Hannover, the surrounding area, or further out doesn't change the process — only how often we meet in person.
The first few weeks determine how smoothly the collaboration runs afterwards: responsibilities, handover channels and deadlines are clearly defined once and then remain in place. The following five steps describe what happens specifically and what we need from you at each stage.

Around 45 minutes: legal form, industry, number of employees, previous bookkeeping and any open issues. Afterwards, we'll tell you which services make sense — financial accounting, payroll accounting, annual financial statements, tax returns — and what input your business needs to provide. For clients further away, a video call is sufficient; in Hannover and the immediate surrounding area, we also visit your premises if machinery, warehousing or a vehicle fleet play a role.

You sign a power of attorney for the tax authorities, so that notices and deadline extensions are handled through us. We review the most recent annual financial statements, current tax assessments, existing standing deadline extensions and any open objection proceedings. This usually already reveals whether advance payments are set too high or too low — a point that can often be corrected right away.

We set up your access to the client portal. Photograph receipts or upload them as PDFs, and bank transactions flow directly into the bookkeeping via the banking interface. Anyone who prefers paper can still bring their folder to the office. Both can be combined, for example digital invoices alongside a paper cash book.

The chart of accounts — the structure according to which every business transaction is recorded — is tailored to your industry. For trade businesses, we separate materials, subcontracted work and labour in a way that keeps subsequent cost calculation possible. This then establishes when receipts need to be submitted, when the VAT advance return is due, and when payroll statements are ready.

You receive the bookkeeping each month along with a brief explanation of the figures. We clarify any questions during our office hours, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm. Before the annual financial statements, we send a closing checklist with everything still needed — inventory count, bank confirmations, loan balances. The closing meeting is again held in person or by video, depending on your location.
Typical cases
Common questions from the region
The concerns within our catchment area are similar: many trade businesses with few employees, self-employed people with changing clients, and small companies growing from cash-basis accounting into balance sheet accounting.
Three topics come up particularly often — and they can be resolved in an orderly manner if addressed early.
Construction services and tax liability
Trade businesses working for other construction companies regularly encounter the reverse charge mechanism under Section 13b of the German VAT Act: in this case, it is not the issuer of the invoice but the client who owes the VAT. We check your outgoing invoices for the correct notice, clarify the exemption certificate for construction withholding tax, and set up the bookkeeping so that both cases are recorded separately.
Switching to balance sheet accounting
Anyone exceeding the revenue or profit thresholds must switch from cash-basis accounting to double-entry bookkeeping. This creates a transitional profit, because outstanding receivables and liabilities are recorded for the first time. We calculate this effect in advance, discuss spreading it over several years, and adjust advance payments so that no unexpected additional payment arrives unprepared.
Employees and mini-jobs
Your first part-time helper brings obligations with them: company number, social security registration, accident insurance, minimum wage documentation. We handle the registration, maintain the payroll accounts and prepare the payslips along with contribution statements. We also calculate and document special cases such as travel allowances, benefits in kind, or short-term employment in seasonal businesses, in an audit-proof manner.
