Services for bookkeeping and taxes
Annual financial statements, payroll accounting, financial accounting and tax returns – commissioned individually or as ongoing full-service support throughout the year.
Four areas, individually or combined
Most engagements start with one area and grow along with the business. What we handle for you is agreed together in the initial consultation.
Annual financial statements
Balance sheet or income statement (EÜR) with all schedules – prepared so you can also explain the figures to your bank.
Payroll accounting
Monthly payroll processing with filings to health insurers and the tax office, including new hires, departures and certificates.
Financial accounting
Ongoing bookkeeping with advance VAT returns. Submit your receipts digitally or bring them in a folder to Georgstraße.
Tax returns
Business and personal returns from a single source: VAT, trade tax, corporation tax and income tax, including review of the assessments.
How the areas work together
Every booked invoice and every payroll run later becomes a building block of the annual financial statements – that's why all four areas work from a shared set of data with us.
From receipt to financial statement
Financial accounting delivers the advance VAT return monthly or quarterly, and at the same time the accounts on which the annual financial statements are built. When bookkeeping is done continuously, there's no catch-up work at year-end: the financial statements don't start with sorting, but with reconciling cash, bank and open items.
Payroll and returns
Personnel expenses and provisions flow directly from payroll accounting into the financial statements. Their result, in turn, forms the basis for the business tax returns and, for sole proprietorships and partnerships, also your personal income tax return. That way, a figure is determined once rather than looked up three times.

Order is created monthly, not in March
Those who book continuously know their results before year-end and can still take action. That's why we discuss interim figures as soon as they're reliable – not only once the financial statements are finished.
See how it worksWho we tailor the areas for
A solo entrepreneur needs something different from a trades business with twelve employees – with us, the scope of services is tailored to the size of the business.
Self-employed
Usually income statement (EÜR), VAT and income tax return bundled together – without payroll accounting as long as there are no employees.

Learn moreFrom initial consultation to engagement
Before anything is commissioned, we look at your figures. Only then is it clear which of the four areas you actually need and at what frequency.
-
Initial consultation at Georgstraße
You describe your legal form, number of employees and what has been handled by whom so far. Appointments are scheduled by arrangement within office hours, Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
-
Reviewing documents
We review the most recent financial statements, current assessments and the state of the bookkeeping. What we need for this is listed on the Required documents page.
-
Defining scope of services
You receive a proposal for which areas we'll take on, at what frequency bookkeeping will be done, and which tasks remain within your business.
-
Power of attorney and handover
Once engaged, you grant power of attorney to the tax office. If switching advisors, we request the data from your previous advisor.
-
Ongoing collaboration
After that, a fixed rhythm applies: receipts from you, bookkeeping and filings from us, interim figures for discussion.
Preparation
Your documents and how we work together
Our financial accounting runs on a monthly cycle: you submit receipts, bank statements and invoices by the 10th of the following month, and we book them and submit the VAT advance return to the tax office.
For payroll accounting, we need timesheets and any changes regarding staff, illness or holiday by the 5th of the month at the latest, so that payroll is ready on time. We accept receipts digitally as PDF or scan, and on request also continue to accept them in a paper folder.
- Incoming and outgoing invoices for the period, complete and consecutive
- Bank statements of all business accounts as well as cash reports for cash transactions
- Contracts for leasing, loans, rent and insurance
- Payroll documents: employment contracts, timesheets, health insurance certificates
- Purchase receipts for machinery, tools and vehicles (for depreciation)
- Notices from the tax office and social insurance providers
What the effort depends on
Our billing follows the Tax Consultant Fee Regulation (StBVV). How much effort is involved depends on comprehensible factors: the number of receipts and payslips, the legal form, the type of profit determination (cash-basis accounting or double-entry bookkeeping), and how organised the documents are when they reach us. Sorted, digitally submitted receipts measurably shorten processing time. In the initial meeting, we review your figures and give you an upfront estimate of the scope, so you know what to expect.
