A fixed monthly rhythm instead of a shoebox in December

You submit your receipts once a month, and we handle everything else: booking, checking, filing, and reporting — on a schedule we agree on together in advance.

Most clients provide us with their documents between the 1st and 5th of the following month. We then book bank transactions, cash, incoming and outgoing invoices, address any questions in a single consolidated message, and submit the VAT advance return to the tax office on time.

You then receive the report — along with a brief note if anything stands out, such as a cost item that's out of the ordinary or a receivable that's been outstanding too long.

  • Booking of bank, cash, and credit card transactions
  • Coding and booking of incoming and outgoing invoices
  • VAT advance return and recapitulative statement
  • Open-items list for receivables and payables
  • Management report (BWA) with year-on-year comparison
  • Handover of figures for the annual financial statements

What we handle for you every month

Four components belong together for us — booking alone doesn't help much if, in the end, you can't see what it says about your business.

Document recording

Bank, cash, credit card transactions as well as incoming and outgoing invoices are coded and posted. We collect unclear documents and ask about them in a single batch, instead of interrupting you with individual queries.

You can see at a glance which customer invoices remain unpaid and which supplier invoices are due — the basis for sending reminders on time and not missing out on early payment discounts.

Business analysis (BWA)

The BWA shows revenues, costs, and provisional results over time, compared with the same period last year. It also serves as the evidence that banks want to see for financing.

Bookkeeping is good when it doesn't just explain what happened after the fact, but shows you what you can act on throughout the year.

From handing over receipts to receiving the report

Five steps that repeat the same way every month — so you know exactly what's needed from you and when.

  1. 1

    Hand over receipts

You upload invoices and bank statements to the client portal or bring the folder to Georgstraße 22. Both are possible, even in combination.

  2. 2

    Pre-recording and review

We check the receipts for completeness and for the required VAT information. If anything is missing, we contact you — once, with a list.

  3. 3

    Booking run

Coding and booking of bank, cash, receivables, and payables. Recurring transactions run through predefined booking rules.

  4. 4

    VAT advance return

Calculation of the amount owed, approval from you, and electronic submission to the tax office — by the 10th of the following month, with a one-month extension if applicable.

  5. 5

    Report and feedback

You receive the BWA, the trial balance, and the open-items list. We flag anything unusual, and discuss larger topics in our quarterly meeting.

Submit receipts digitally — paper still works too

If you photograph or scan your invoices, you save the trip downtown — but if you'd rather drop off the folder in person, that won't get you worse bookkeeping.
