Your path to us
Write to us about what it concerns – we'll get back to you with a suggested appointment and let you know in advance which documents we need for the discussion.
Inquiry to the firm
The more precisely we understand your starting point, the more specific our response can be – legal form and your request are enough for us to take the first step.

Process
From inquiry to initial consultation
After your message via the form or by phone, it usually takes one to two business days before you hear from us.
We get back to you through the channel you indicated and first clarify two questions: which service is needed and whether we can take it on in terms of expertise and availability. Only then do we schedule an appointment. This way, you avoid a meeting that ultimately doesn't help you.

You briefly describe your situation: legal form, industry, whether you have booked your accounts yourself so far or used another firm, and which year is outstanding. These four details are enough for us to roughly estimate the workload.

We check whether your case fits our areas of focus: annual financial statements, financial and payroll accounting, and tax returns. If we're missing any information, we ask in advance by e-mail rather than using up the meeting time for it.

You receive two appointment proposals within our office hours. The initial consultation lasts about 45 to 60 minutes and takes place at the firm, by phone or as a video call – whichever suits you best.

We go through your figures and deadlines, outline the scope of support and explain what the fee under the Tax Advisor Fee Regulation (StBVV) depends on: the value of the matter, volume of documents and type of service.

If you decide to work with us, you'll receive a power of attorney for the tax office and a list of the documents required. In case of a switch, we request the prior-year financial statements and bookkeeping data from your previous firm.

We agree on when which documents need to reach us – for monthly bookkeeping, usually by the 10th of the following month – and name your dedicated contact person for any questions.

Documents for the first meeting
The more figures we have on hand, the more specific our guidance can be. Nothing needs to be complete – you can submit missing items later. A look at your last tax return and current figures is usually enough to clearly identify what needs to be done and any deadlines.
- Tax number and, if applicable, VAT identification number
- Most recent tax assessment and the corresponding return
- Prior year's annual financial statements or income/expense statement
- Current trial balance, if you already keep your own books
- For employers: number of employees and wage types
- Articles of association or commercial register extract for GmbH and UG
