Your initial consultation at Steuerkanzlei Berg
We listen, review your starting position and tell you openly what support from us would mean for you. The first conversation is completely non-binding.
Purpose of the consultation
At the end, you'll know where you stand
We take around 45 minutes to review your figures, deadlines, and open questions — and tell you honestly whether we're the right firm for you.
Many people come to us with a single question: Is it worth changing our legal form? How do I get payroll off my desk? Why is the annual financial statement late every year? We address this question in the consultation — and at the same time look at what else may have fallen by the wayside.
Afterwards, it's clear which services you actually need, who provides which documents, and at what rhythm we would work together. We give you the cost estimate during the same appointment, not weeks later.

How it works
From inquiry to appointment
Three steps stand between you and the consultation: you briefly describe your situation, we suggest appointment times, and we meet — at Georgstraße or by phone.

1. Send your enquiry
You fill in the form on this page — name, business, legal form and your request in two sentences. It doesn't need to be longer than that; we'll discuss everything else in person.

2. Arrange an appointment
We'll get back to you within two business days via the channel you provided, and suggest two to three appointment options. If none suit you, we'll keep looking.

3. Have a conversation
We'll talk about your figures, deadlines and goals. At the end, you'll receive a clear statement on scope of services, collaboration and cost framework.
Preparation
What you should bring
The better overview we have of your figures, the more specific our assessment will be. If something is missing, that's no reason to postpone the appointment.
- Your most recent annual financial statement or income surplus statement
- The most recent tax assessments from the tax office and municipality
- Tax number and, if applicable, VAT identification number
- Commercial register extract or trade registration, plus the articles of association, if available
- A list of your employees with their working hours, if we are to handle payroll
- Any current outstanding deadlines, reminders, or notices of a tax audit
- The name of your current firm, if you're looking to switch
Nothing sorted yet?

If all you hear in a first consultation is agreement, you learn very little. We also tell you where we see extra effort involved — and when another firm might be a better fit for you.
